This film was the first of many cuban documentaries to highlight the problems faced by Cuban skateboarding and has since helped inspire many skateboard companies, filmmakers and even newspapers such as – The Guardian to highlight and contribute to the cause.

Due to long-standing U.S. trade sanctions, these skaters are cut off from the gear that fuels their passion, forcing them to navigate an environment  where simply obtaining a skateboard becomes a challenge in itself.”
